Hiking is one of my lifelong passions. A little while ago I started a hiking blog called TrailBlogs. It was a place where I could share my love for the outdoors with the world.
I hoped to monetize it with ads or leveraging it against a trail guide business. I realized after a short while that there were already too many similar websites doing a good job of what I wanted to do.
The barrier to entry was entirely too large and I shut it down. My love for both the outdoors and writing haven't gone away so it's rearing it's head again in the form of it's own category on my little site here.

Fox Canyon Trail is a great little hike that forks off of Shelf Road (Valley View Trail). Its a little bit under 2 miles and a little steep at times with quite a few switchbacks. Overall it’s a hike that will make you sweat but shouldn’t take all day. You should still pack your hiking hat. [Read more…]
