Cast iron cookware can be tricky to clean if you don’t know the basics. Chainmail scrubbers make it a lot easier but they can be expensive to say the least. Recently, I came across a post on the cast iron subreddit about making your own scrubber.
It involved ordering your own open jump rings and watching a simple video. After I watched the video I went ahead and ordered the rings so I could give this a shot for myself.
I figured it couldn’t hurt to learn how to make these. If you can follow along with a YouTube tutorial you can save yourself a little cash. I’m always looking for something new to keep me busy anyway. [Read more…]
